The centrepiece of the newly elected Conservative Government’s Queen’s Speech was the commitment to have an in/out referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union.

This was the subject of a recent Interel Breakfast Briefing addressed by former Cabinet Member Andrew Lansley entitled ‘Brexit and Business: Fight or Flee?’

You can find Andrew’s notes here, we hope they will provide you with a useful overview of the debate. He speculates on the timing of the referendum and what the position of business should be in the run up to polling day.
