Christine Thompson is a senior public affairs professional with UK, EU, and international regulatory and government affairs experience gained in London, Edinburgh, Brussels, Geneva, Johannesburg and Melbourne, Australia. Most recently, she led SABMiller's UK government affairs engagement, representing the company's interests to a wide range of Westminster and Whitehall stakeholders Christine spent twelve years working in SABMiller’s global corporate affairs team. Previously, she worked for PR agencies affiliated to Edelman and Chime Communications. She brings in-house and agency experience, alongside a deep knowledge of the full range of corporate affairs disciplines, with particular expertise in public policy, government relations, lobbying and corporate social responsibility. Christine is a strong communicator with natural networking skills. She has built an excellent personal network in the UK that has enabled her to work effectively with government, NGOs, industry associations and a variety of external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes for the business.
